On the evening of May 22nd, GELLÉ FRÈRES announced the launch of its new Chérissime collection in Kunming, the City of Eternal Spring in Yunnan, China. The official announcement was made in the presence of actress and brand ambassador Deng Jiajia. Many fans were able to follow the event as it was broadcast across all online platforms:

HEIR TO THE SECULAR ROYAL ARTISANAL SPIRIT
The GELLÉ FRÈRES brand was founded in 1826. It draws its origin from a formula inherited from Jean-Louis Fargeon, the talented perfumer of the royal house of Queen Marie-Antoinette. As the former official supplier to the royal family and high society, the brand built on its botanical know-how, combining the curative wisdom of plants with craftsmanship expertise to create formulas that have been handed down from one generation to the next for almost 200 years.
The new Chérissime collection finds its origins in the “Bible of Roses” of Empress Joséphine, wife of Napoleon I. The rose of Anatolia, the French white rose, the Damask rose, the rose with a thousand petals from the Yunnan highlands, the purple rose and the red rose are all part of the Empress’ secret of youth.
The collection is made of six of the rarest Rosaceae in the world, combined with a unique plant – the king of Yunnan camellias: Camellia “Tongzimian”. This species is rich in flavonoids and tea polyphenols, which help reduce melanin production, lighten spots and bring radiance to the skin. This product also includes a combination of alpha arbutin and nicotinamide active ingredients to increase the clarifying power, as well as a combination of active anti-irritation ingredients to make the skin softer and more radiant.
These natural ingredients are combined with a patented extraction technology that helps optimise efficiency at each stage of skin care. This way the brand can offer natural products free from harmful ingredients, alcohol, animal oil, mineral oil, heavy metals, hormones or fluorescent agents.
At the launch, Ms WU Xinrui, CEO of GELLÉ FRÈRES Asia Pacific, declared: “This new, modernised version combines the use of rare ingredients and innovative technology, guaranteeing its effectiveness and paying tribute to royal know-how and botanical wisdom”.

During the press conference, Deng Jiajia was awarded the official brand ambassador certificate.
