Jean-Paul Hévin developed a passion for chocolate at a very early age. He has accumulated multiple prizes and awards. He won first prize in the International Chocolate Awards at the age of 26. Three years later, in 1986, he was awarded the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, a craftsmen’s competition which is considered to be the highest award in the trade. Today he owns five shops in Paris and 13 in Asia.


The shops have a stripped-back feel enhanced with touches of gold. The brand’s signature products are on display: a collection of 30 chocolate bars, thin Grand Cru ganache dark, milk or praline chocolate pebbles, a range of chocolate macarons, which often feature in the press, and pastries too.

Three blends of drinking chocolate by theme:

Classic blend (Viennese chocolate) or Grands Crus blend (Anne of Austria style with sweet, vanilla spices) or try “Envies Parisiennes,” an experience in which you can try things like oyster infused chocolate, Caribbean chocolate cocktails and chocolate tonics.
This is a new setting in which to have a unique experience tasting chocolate in its different guises.

A multi-sensory experience

Jean-Paul Hévin took sensual exploration a step further and extended tastings with a sophisticated, contemporary musical backdrop. This features musical creations from various cacao producing countries. Experience the first “Chocolate Bar,” created by David Silva and produced by Jean-Paul Hévin, for yourself.
