Nina’s

Tea room

Fancy eating something delicious? Nothing beats stopping for a rest in a tea room after window shopping on Avenue de l’Opéra.

We’ve discovered an unusual tearoom which will take you right back to Marie-Antoinette’s era. This tearoom is on Rue Danielle Casanova, just a stone’s throw away from Place Vendôme and the Gellé Frères boutique.

A beautiful tale

Just like Gellé Frères, this tea room dates back several centuries to the days of kings and queens.

Nina’s came about as a result of merging a perfume and essential oil distillery (which the French court really liked) and a tea room.  Nina’s developed a range of aromatic teas inspired by the expertise of these two separate ventures.

A very feminine decor

The tea rooms have a very feminine boudoir feel. Inside you’ll discover the tea room’s speciality: Marie-Antoinette tea, a Ceylan tea blended with rose and apple, inspired by the queen’s royal garden. You can also enjoy a piece of cake, the perfect complement to a cup of tea.

Find the perfect gift

The tea room also has a deli section where you can purchase teas, infusions, jellies and other jams.  You can also find handcrafted soap made using a recipe from 1778. There is a range of other gift sets which make ideal presents.
